Nathan Griffith, a participant in multiple seasons of the reality show Teen Mom 2 on MTV, has been taken into custody. Griffith, 35, was detained on Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nevada, on suspicion of battery by strangulation.
He was then booked into Clark County Jail, as per online custody status records. Nathan Griffith, known for his appearances on MTV’s Teen Mom 2, was apprehended at a residence where he was temporarily staying, as reported by TMZ, who broke the news.
Law enforcement received a call at around 9:15 o’clock and arrived at the house right away. Following an investigation, Nathan Griffith was taken into custody for allegedly engaging in a battery incident against a family member.
A $5,000 bail has been set for his current detention, and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Thursday. It remains unclear whether he is still in custody at the moment.
Nathan Griffith’s Second Arrest: Allegations of Battery by Strangulation
This marks the second arrest for Nathan Griffith this year.After an alleged attack on his girlfriend in February, he was detained and charged with domestic abuse by strangulation. The incident reportedly involved him dragging her up a flight of stairs. However, the charges were subsequently dropped in March, as reported by The Sun.
Griffith and Evans were in a relationship from 2013 to 2015, during which they had a son named Kaiser, who is now 9 years old. Their engagement was called off in August 2015 after experiencing verbal disputes and ongoing relationship issues.
